Rather than spamming you with emails about what I'm up to in my fantasy worlds, I plan to start adding short blog posts to the website with details about how things are going. This is, as you probably guessed, the first one!

Most excitingly, I'm just getting ready to pull the trigger on The Red Book of Errabrec, which is volume 1 in the Spell Books of Meklir series. I currently have the first three books drafted, so I have a strong sense of where the series is going already. With any luck, volumes 2 and 3 will appear in the next few months.
If you have signed up for my mailing list, you should already have access to a free copy of the ebook of The Potentate of Azardika, a novella about the Champion, Talgar of Sen. Talgar gets a few mentions in The Red Book of Errabrec, so this will give you an insight into just what he does. Please do get in touch if you tried to access your copy and were unable to get hold of it. I plan to make a paperback version of the book available for sale, as some people just need to have a book they can hold.
The second Talgar of Sen story (in publication order, but not necessarily chronologically) is A Legionnaire in Prel, which is almost ready to publish. It is a stand-alone, so there is no need to worry if you haven't read The Potentate of Azardika. I'm also working on a set of Talgar of Sen short stories that I hope to release in about a year's time.

The third property set in the world of Meklir is the Tales of Malivene Grode. Again, if you have read The Red Book of Errabrec, you will have seen some mentions of both Malivene Grode and her friend Barqeidis, the Silver Griffin. Like Talgar, Malivene Grode is a 'Champion', which is what we call the analogue of superheroes in the world of Meklir. In The Theurgic Centrum, Malivene is only beginning to realise she has powers. She has to come to terms with this while living in a city that outlaws magic and while trying to understand her own past. At the time of writing, I would say I am about 60% of the way through the draft of The Theurgic Centrum. It is a stand-alone tale, but I expect it to fit into a broader Malivene narrative.
