The Blue Book of Sevadon
Volume 2 of the Spell Books of Meklir series... Sevadon has been drafted and is just going through the editing process. I'll be doing the cover reveal in early November, at which point the novel will go on pre-order, with a view to having it out in time for Christmas. Watch this space for cover reveal details, and for news on how to pre-order your copy.

Beta Readers Ahoy!

Beta readers... Yes, I'm looking to expand my network of merry helpers. As you know, no novel is an island (and that's not even a saying, so why did I just write it? I don't know. Do you know? Nobody knows. You see why this appeal is important?). It's important to get several pairs of eyes onto a book before it sees the light of day. This is why we use the services of highly-trained professional editors, of course. But it's at least as important to hear from the people who actually choose, for their own pleasure, to read the specific genre we're writing. With that in mind, I am looking to add a small number of willing vict-- sorry, volunteers to my beta group. Your mission, should you choose to accept it, will be to read a pre-publication draft of part or all (the amount you read is up to you) of the next volumes in the series and give me some feedback. You will receive a short list of prompts from me, so that you know what kinds of things I need to know. As a thank you, will will receive a free copy of the published novel when it comes out.

ARC Reviewers Ahoy!

ARC reviewers wanted!... As you know, no one wants to commit the time and money to reading a novel if they don't know that it's likely to suit them. But, besides judging the book by its cover and reading the blurb, how do they know if it's likely to suit them before they've even bought it? Well, that's where you come in, dear potential ARC reviewer. ARC reviewers receive a finished version of the novel prior to publication in exchange for agreeing to post honest reviews in the usual places that other readers might look when trying to work out if the novel might suit them. What's in it for you? Free books, that you get to read before everyone else; the chance to influence opinion; the chance to help me develop the series and take it in interesting new directions; cake, if we ever happen to be in the same town at the same time; did I mention free books?
